The mixing is well done, but the track is far from being good for my personal taste.
You should try some dance remixes, as that sax is really nice

hey, wooow. normally i dont listen to that ambient, chill stuff.
but this is awesome. Nice flow :)

May i ask you, how you created that nice bass and the room verb at the beginnin`g? very awesome :)

    greetings

Its good.Seems like people have a hard time with opening their songs. The ambience of people in the intro is not on the same quality level of production as the rest of the song.
Change the sample with a better one or go back and add a better reverb or make some EQ adjustments.
The song needs some re-arrangements to make it stronger as a song.
Otherwise its very good, i like it :)

@LoveKavi What DAW do you use? Would you be interested in collaborating on a track?

    Here is my latest offering

@LoveKavi Great track! mix-wise, I'd say you're almost there. I would put the sax and guitar more to the front, by lowering the reverb on them and maybe put some parallel compression on them, or give some analogue warmth to the sax..

Thank you! Errm from the top of my head what I did was use Waves True Verb (can use any verb) on the master track, had the decay of the reverb really low to like 0.2-0.6 sec and the verb/room size to a fairly small one. This gave the room verb. I may have reduced the dry signal so it's practically just wet reverb that's being heard for the intro too.

Love that track mate! I used FL Studio! I'd love to collaborate on a track! I'll pm you.

Cheers mate! Yeah I think structuring was and still is my weakest aspect when it comes to music. I usually get lazy and just loop verse, pre, chorus etc...

wow, never thought, that you use FL.
Did u use that slide notes for the bass? i like that gliding, sliding with the bass so much :)

Do you master in FL too?

Yup everything on FL! FL has improved incredibly over the years to the point it can be classed as an industry standard. If the vocal/audio recording was better I think it'd be perfect.

For the bass I used the FL slide function. Like create a note, then use a shorter note and change it to a slide setting (double clicking it) and placing it somewhere to add that modern slidey spice.

I mastered it on FL using Ozone 5 or maybe 7, with a few waves plugins.
