I'm just wondering if anyone had any issues with installing cracked IL plugins with a legit flstudio installation ?


is there anything I should bear in mind whilst doing this

At least block FL Studio to connect to the internet.

any particular method ?
unplug Ethernet cable or host blocking( not sure that is 100% effective in w10!)

But one problem with blocking flstdio to the internet and that is... updates !

 

Best method is a good firewall. I use one that is free, and very good, letting you control exactly what can connect and what cannot.
It's called Zone Alarm https://www.zonealarm.com/software/free-firewall
BUT you must know what you are doing with it. This firewall will ask you what to do, and just dont click without reading it's messages and being unsure about your decision.
Example, it will ask you to let FL Studio to connect to the internet. You have to know that if you allow this, plugins will use this connection to connect it selves to their homes..

Well, that's the difficult part of mixing legit and non legit software. Maybe you can download the updates and install them instead of letting Fl Studio to connect.
