Cognitone releases Synfire music prototyping studio v2.0 - Dec 21, 2022

Cognitone has announced an update to its music prototyping software that is designed to render music dynamically from components that you can edit and replace at any time, no matter how complex and evolved your project already is.

A complete overhaul, version 2.0 of Synfire for Windows and Mac includes Snippets (composing in real-time) and Factories (generating random phrases) to offer new creative workflows. Additionally, a new affordable entry-level edition has joined the family, which now includes Sparks, Express and Pro. All three editions support plugin hosting and phrase editing.

I've been waiting for this update for ten years...

 

Yes! I jumped on it when it was released back in the spring. Andre has done a excellent job with factories and reworking the interface. At this point it is life changing.

 

Brilliant piece of software! It takes some time to understand it, but once you do, it's golden!
