With how my method works, if they dont see a problem in the first 6 months, then its pretty much failproof.

My 2 cents and take on this is that this thread is dangerous to the site and should be treated as warez. The op has obviously scammed Avid and is profiting off of a swindle, not actually sharing and is hence not exactly on the up and up. This will surely get back to Avid and might have serious consequences for the lily white virginity of audiosex, the Jungfrau that she is.

It's much worse than warez but both, software vendor and buyer of the account are scammed. It will only last as long as Avid will be aware of the scam and all those accounts will be taken down on the same day. They just need to compare payment db against license db.

And yes, credibility of audiosex will suffer imho.

btw.: wouldn't it by easy to block problematic usernames so one couldn't even register them?

Exactly my thoughts, allowing the reselling of Software that has obviously been obtained fraudently (or with methods that the seller does not want to mention for.. reasons) is pretty much the same as selling warez. Only that you can keep Warez for a lifetime usually.

But fun aside: I don't care about Avid. I'm afraid for the guys who buy these account passwords (and it isn't more than a password they buy). I'm sure Avid will find it out. It's so easy to destinguish legit from non legit. And the they will close down all those accounts. May it be tomorrow or in a year...
