hi there, here's a survey. I'm looking for the best sounding Clavinet & Pianet library (not only for Kontakt). Here's the contenders:

AcousticSamples Clav D9 are for Mach Five 3 / UVI Workstation

EZKeys Retro Electrics are not for Kontakt either

 

you're right. post edited, I'd like to bring all the emulations in not only Kontakt

 

Pianoteq has a library for that too.

If you use some effects, like chorus, delays... all are usable, but if You want that raw natural sound, none does the job for me.

The keyboard itself makes for a huge factor when playing a clavi... the keys have to be fast and the velocity compressed.

Playing any clavi library on ie. a Roland A90 is very hard... the keys are to slow...
Of big importance are the settings in Your daw... the buffer must be set as low as possible... even at 64 You can feel the latency when playing clavinets, so, good asio drivers are what You need.

On pair with drums and e-guitars, playing a clavinet (vsti) requires a daw well setup for live performance .
