Tried a demo version of chipspeech till I buy it, now all of a sudden it doesn’t have a valid license and won’t accept any new ones, is there a time bomb and this version is just dead now? Also gave some similar issue about an alterego bank, don’t know if that messed it up but I deleted that too thinking that was part of the problem… other demos from Plogue work fine but chipspeech is the only one that is still broken, and alterego is working as normal without the alys bank

 

plogue defense mechanisms are quite sophisticated, if you mess in some part of your installation you,ll most likely have problems
you should now clean your system of any plogue leftovers and reinstall

I used to have similar issues and it was just Windows losing the R2R certificate. Try running the R2R utility to see if the certificate is still working. If not, that's the issue.

 

Apparently reinstalling aria and fermata engine restored the plugin, so at least that should be fine for a while

 

Ploguie stuff is skrewy with the install order for trial/r2r. If you add components after having already run previous trial/r2r it can remove the license. IE, adding an alterego voicebank after Chipspeech has already been up once and similar.

 

You need to completely delete all remaining files. Did you purchase a version?

Plogue chipspeech needs to be authorized in order to be fully functional, otherwise it will run in DEMO mode. When you order a license from Share*it, you receive a personal Activation Key card named aria_key_1017.png as an email. The Activation Key card is an image resembling a typical credit card. This image contains your registration and details encoded within the Key card image. It will look like this:

You should save the aria_key_1017.png image file to your hard drive (keep it in a safe place).
For convenience, we recommend that you initially save the .png file to your desktop.
You will also receive a copy of the license card in your email inbox.

1) Locate the “license card” image where you saved it on your hard drive. (aria_key_1017.png)
2) Open the chipspeech software application, or launch your favorite host and make sure you see chipspeech interface.
3) Simply click and hold on the file, drag the “license image” or file icon directly onto the application's UI itself, and release it.

If you don't get any message (or are not able to drop the key in that host), try to import the png file from the the snapshot
load menu or the slot load import. (use *.* as file filter)

You should be presented with a message saying “Plogue Art et Technologie, Inc chipspeech is now activated for {your name
here}”

This is why r2r always specify you should remove prior versions before installing. They mean completely, and if that means using Revo for you; they are not adding details about what are commonplace practice for warez. They may write in nfo "block internet" and they do not include details how to setup your firewall to do it. It's too basic to even write any more about it.

Removing demos is just as important, and sometimes more. Otherwise people could just simply reinstall the same demo over and over when the trial expires.
