The link is there buddy - they attempt to explain why. I do not stream my music which I have given up attempting to reiterate as it will become a broken record. I thought it may be useful to the younger generation who only stream, who do not record real acoustic instruments which randomly can become an abortion with the streaming algorithms. So I guess you will have to ask the site that is advertising the service is all I can suggest. You should hear what two sites do to an upright bass and jazz kit's KD. They turn it into an EDM kick and a woofy bass. disgusting....they're not supposed to EQ. That's also why no jazz musician will ever hire a Pop, EDM, Hip-hop or modern dance music engineer anywhere near their music.

If a DAW doesn't have their own LUFS, Peak, RMS etc testing YouLean is free and half decent to the people who wish to go that path. But you already know that :)

I really want a lot of people mastering at -5 LUFS because they will sound like shit and i will sound better than them without effort.

I was specifically wondering about a possible rejection and I couldn't find anything about it on that page or the link at the top to the plugin...

Seems to be the thing this century with corporates and businesses that a lie by omission is supposedly just fine, but it isn't, it's still a lie. Maybe one day again, creators will say what it cannot do.

No, "turn down music recorded at higher levels" just means that the volume will be turned down. Not that the master will be rejected. There's also no penalty. If your master is "too loud", it's normalized to the same level as all other masters, so the listeners don't need to adjust their volume on every song. Nothing else will be changed and your master will still sound exactly the same.

@BaSsDuDe thanks for this. While I don't personally have much use for it for my own shit, I do work with people who it might, so things like this come in handy. Again, thank you.

There's no use arguing things that just are, regardless of whether we agree with it or not. You can't fight city hall etc. etc.

Tell them. Reading what they say in their site often assists for source.

You are welcome. while many of us can do it ourselves with a myriad of different loudness meters, this is useful for people who do not. A lot of people completely missed that and decided to spout information that has nothing to do with the intention of this thread.
