Black Friday sales are ON and I see many new or unpopular plugs on pluginboutique. Name a few which should be avoided even if they are cheap (like 5 bucks) but still suck when compared to free ones.
Some of them according to me,
    WA Production
    SoundSpot
    Some of Waves
StudioLinked (this should be on the top)

Soundspot has some useful plugins, but half of them are kinda shitty or you can get better free stuff.
WA Production has some interesting ideas, but most of the plugins are not really good either.
But I don't know if you should avoid them alltogether, you must be careful if you want to buy something from these brands, and you should never buy something if it isn't on sale.

    Studiolinked is trash.

I don't know other brands you should avoid. But for many cheap is the new free, really cheap plugins are allways suspect to me.

Agree, Studiolinked needs to be burned at the stake. Piss poor quality. Even if they offered 99% off, don't take it.

Agreed on that list. I also heard some consistent rumours about 8dio (bad customer support, shitty boss attitude, or whatever it was). Can't deny or confirm.

As an example, Soundspot Evade is much better than Kickstart, if you want a cheap sidechain plugin, it's really cool, that's 1 of the few good soundspot plugins, that come to my mind.

And their gui looks allways great, but behind the gui it's often bad or nothing special

    Process.audio Sugar
Waves OneKnob Series (it is not bad, but it doesn't deserve to be paid either)
Invisible Limiter, was heavily useful in loudness war days, AOM even released a G2 with more features, anybody used it?
NEW MENTION: Beatskillz (i think this one is more bad than StudioLinked)

Sorry to be off-topic Demberto, but does somebody know when quality plugins like Fabfilter offer discounts?Because there isn't any sale currently on their website.

@Blue FF knows their plugins will be used somewhere in EVERY fucking piece of music that is professional. There is not a single bad review about an FF plugin (the effects) i read anywhere. Sure they are expensive, but so are all other popular ones from Waves, UAD, brainworx, DMG, Sonnox and some others. FF stands for Fuckin' Fantastic.
You can talk the same about nexus also.

Search google its the best place

I tried a few of them like their distortion and reverb and I remember I just didn't like the sound of these plugins...I can't say where it comes from bro:dunno:...I find better alternative at izotope,Fabfilter,Eventide,Valhalla,Soundtoys,NI,PA...To name a few.

Soundspot = Nebular (One of my fav.)
Maybe they got some bad eggs like every family.

WA Production InstaChord is great and I don't know freeware like this.

I would like to add HoRNet to the list of devs to avoid. I've purchased 3 of their plug-ins in the past and no longer use any of them. Waste of money. Waste of time. AAX crashes PT11 WAAAYYY too often.

    Buy these:

TDR Nova GE - (EQ, Compression, Multi-band Compression)
TDR Limiter 6 GE - (Compression with differing modes, High frequency limiter, Clipper with differing modes including Multi-band clipping, Limiter, Multi-band limiter, True Peak limiter, EBU compliant loudness measurement, Dithering)

    Can't go wrong with TDR.

TDR is even free a lot better than most of WA Production or Soundspot plugins, good recommendation!

There are a lot. Beatskillz being one of them. Since hiphop got famous i dont know how many people just ripped off omnisphere and arturia presets to create their sample packs snd even plugins
