Have been looking recently for some reasonably cheap decent plugin bundles.

Came across Crysonic offering all their plugins for a price of £45. People may have mentioned this previously, not sure.

I think their products are pretty good & for that price seems a 'no-brainer'

    http://www.crysonic.com/shop.html

With the market flooded with vastly overpriced plugins was wondering if anyone was aware of any other good reasonably cheap good quality plugin bundles available for purchase at the moment.

    Thanks

Wow, stay away from Crysonic mate :wow:
There's also a lot of topics on Gearslutz and even here on AS where you'll hear some "horror" testimonials/experiences.
Also they have one of the worst technical support ever.
They have that "(98% OFF)" since forever. It's not a special sale offer so don't take it too seriously.
They'll going to make you ripp your hair off your head. Also their self-acclaimed technology is bull*hit hidden under a shiny GUI.
You'd better go with Plug&Mix, Melda, Voxengo or PSP. Even the freewares from Tokio Dawn Labs are oustanding and great and you might add them to your arsenal without paying anything(I always use their Feedback Compressor II on my mixbuses since i discovered it :grooves: ) . These are a few examples which came into my head right now. I'm awake from like 23 hours ago and my "grey" processing is limited for the moment.

Some other guys here will surely pop in mentioning some other good companiese for bundles.

    All the best! :mates:

Yes, as Audiosexual mentioned, Voxengo make good VST/AU plug-ins, and their freebies are really good.

Why don't you "try before buy"? Or download a demo?

Their Crysonic SpectraphyHD limiter kills sound - like 12 bit decimator/bitcrusher, it kills tails, quiet sounds etc. Try it, you will delete it after 5 minutes.
A lot of free stuff sounds hundreds times better than this no-free sh*t like Crysonic.
Try first some free stuff - Variety of Sound, Vlad G Sound, Tokyo Dawn Labs, some DDMF free eqs, etc.
Buy expensive if it is quality. Almost all can offer some % off to save money. Do not buy shit. Forget Crysonic

As already said, avoid Crysonic like a plague *yes*
I agree 100% with Evorax, Tokyo Dawn Labs freewares are pure gold, if you want to buy something pick TokyoDawn/V.O.S. SlickEQ G.E.
I bought it and its great, but I would have bought it anyway also without ever using just to give them something back for their incredible FeedBack comp. :wow:
2nd name that comes to my mind: Klanghelm. His DC8C and SDRR are very good, fair price, no copy protection at all. With this stuff + a good surgical eq (Pro-Q2?) I'm covered in all my plain mixing needs. For creative stuff and production I still use some not-so-cheap commercials plugs.

What some others mentioned, you really can't go wrong with VladG, Tokyo Dawn, Klanghelm, Voxengo... and I'd like to mention excellent ToneBoosters bundle [ http://www.toneboosters.com ], Reaper ReaPlugs [ http://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/ ] and GVST excellent bundle of rather handy creative FX [ http://www.gvst.co.uk/index.htm ], LoudMax [ http://loudmax.blogspot.com/ ] which I use very gently as I'm not a fan of squashed audio and it does the job perfectly for shaving off a few dB of peaks. If you want a killer all purpose EQ I'd look no further then DMG Audio EQuality [ http://www.dmgaudio.com/products_equality.php ] even though ToneBoosters TB Equaliser, SlickEQ [ http://www.tokyodawn.net/tdr-vos-slickeq/ ], or ReaEQ can do a great job, too, especially for mixing. EQuality is more for mastering than mixing. Perfecrt damn EQ! HoRNet makes some really good and cheap plugins, too: http://www.hornetplugins.com/home/ . I like his MultiComp and SW34EQ. With all this you're probably going to need some great and cheap reverbs. Valhalla DSP makes some of the best software reverbs and FX plugins there are: http://www.valhalladsp.com/ . I use all of the Valhalla plugins, meaning his free one ValhallaFreqEcho [ http://www.valhalladsp.com/valhallafreqecho ] is also really great and very usable. I would also like to mention great and very smooth free VU-metres from Sleepy-Time DSP [ http://sleepytimedsp.com/ ]. I use these a lot.

If you can't make a great mix with these plugins, you've probably chosen a wrong hobby/vocation, no offence. *yes* That means that you can make a great production and mastering for just a few hundred $. I could make a great mix only with all the freeware plugins I mentioned. The only plugins I possibly couldn't do without and they're not free are Valhalla plugins, but ReaVerb is not that shabby if you have a nice collection of impulses and they can be found on the web for free... shame ReaVerb doesn't come with ReaPlugs, only with Reaper, so if I had to use some other DAW I would probably use Smartelectronix Ambience [ http://magnus.smartelectronix.com/ ] and they have some other really nice FX plugins, too, and I can use TC M40 Reverb that came with my Konnekt 48 interface which is excellent also. There's lack of really good freeware reverbs, unfortunately. Ambience is the best. However, Voxengo OldSkoolVerb and AriesVerb are not so bad, either IMHO.

    Cheers! :mates:

Thanks for all the replies. Has been really helpful. I am building up my plugins from scratch again as the idea is to build up a good range of ones that I own. I really like the Tokyo Dawn ones. So on my deffo buy list so far are Gentlmans EQ, SSDR & other Klanghelm stuff. I also really like some of the free plugs from variety of sound. What I am really looking for also is like a smallish bundle of plugins that will cover most of my needs. I really like nugen stuff but they 'too pricey' for me at the moment.Waves bundles are out the question also.

I really like Fab Filter stuff so am thinking of buying a small bundle from them & also really like DMG Audio.

I'm not a big fan of Melda stuff and am struggling to find like a small quaility bundle that will cover most needs. Have Never used Hornet plgins but alot of people seem to rate them highly as with Toneboosters & Stillwell.

I do rate voxengo as well so will look into whether I can buy a bundle from them & will be looking for a quality Convolution Reverb & was thinking of Vienna MIR but not a big fan of dongles & that lol.

Thanks for all your replies has been really helpful.

In addition to all the wonderful suggestions you have been given by previous posters, I could also add Sknote, another developer of good cheap plugins.

Not cheap @ all but recommendable: Wave Arts Plug-Ins
    Code:
    http://wavearts.com/
Some products by Nomad Factory are also good.
Of course the best Plug-Ins are in a high price range such as:
SONNOX, Waves, Brainworx, Plugin Alliance etc…

Cheap and great is definitely the Massey plugins. You can try them forever if you wish. They don't click, pop, tomebomb, or go silent (no presets can be saved on demo mode, though, and they reset when re-started).

The only drawback for several is that they are mostly RTAS for Pro Tools 32bit, but they have ported some of their plugins to VST.

Gosh, yes, how could I forget Sonimus Satson and Britson? But for gain-staging, free Sleepy-Time DSP VU-Metres will do absolutely great, but they don't add any "mojo". I like the "mojo" that Sonimus' plugins do. Much better than any Waves console plugs and they cost way less. Price doesn't really determine the quality, nor a nice looking GUI, at least not 100%. Speaking of prices, I wish DMG and Voxengo plugins were a bit cheaper. But on the other hand one could argue that they're absolutely worth the price.

Speaking of convolution reverbs, Voxengo Pristine Space is still the quality and versatility king IMO, but Liquidsonics Reverberate is really great, too.

Yes, CM magware is absolutely worth checking out!

I will check out all the above great suggestions  One thing I was wondering was if anyone has any experience using Slate Digital Plugins? I know some people rate them very highly and they are selling a small bundle at a decent price. The only drawback is that they use ILOK2 and have heard some bad things about ILoK2. Has anyone here encountered issues with ILok 2 or Slate Digital plugins? Thanks
