Hi i already volume balanced some tracks

but now i want to change a preset of a synth

but i don't want the overall volume of the track to change as it will mess up the whole mix

how do i keep the volume the same when changing preset of a single track? as each preset has different parameters

i understand i could do this manually but its for more tracks too

You can try putting a limiter on all the tracks that you want to not exceed their current level

You could measure the LUFSi with JS: Loudness Meter Peak/RMS/LUFS and adjust the new preset accordingly.

To get the LUFSi faster you could also dry render the track.
