Now that the internet is “freaked out” and the storage sites are shitting their pants (for fear of profit loss) is anyone thinking about an alternative ?

Personally I think VPN is the way to go for the future and not blatantly advertising content would also be an improvement.

and maybe i'm not so well informed as i should be when postings comments, but why not just find a reliable non us based (maybe russian/chinese, those sorts) filehosting site.. or make one.. ?!
they couldn't do anything about that if that happend, or am i wrong?

thanks for the heads up pilz971, I do understand something very big is going on and that it's not just a couple of pirate busts, but I was actually trying to think of what to do to replace the downed services. but since 'they' now are international sheriff's, i take back my suggestion. anyway can you explain to me then, why can they just go overseas and play cop there, to it would be logically to say that ain't their jurisdiction.. i must have missed something in this whole situation.

It’s all smoke and mirrors !

The usa is earths ball & chain and has been from the 1930’s and will continue to be so as long as they remain the global “super power”, that super power is finally fading and Asia will one day (in the not too distant future) take that position through globalisation. America is a war mongering nation and while it has been busy dictating to countries with large amounts of natural resources namely oil the rest of the world has been slowly evolving or advancing for want of a better word. This puts America under a lot of pressure and don’t forget that it is a land that is technically bankrupt: $ 1 5 , 2 4 2 , 4 1 6 , 1 4 7 , 4 2 7 . 5 8 is a hell of a lot of money to owe and there is no way they can pay this back. This puts the rest of the world in danger as we are all well aware of the global financial crises which is now turning into a global depression. Again thanks to the good old USA we have managed to regress back to the 1930’s, oh the irony of it all.

What has that got to do with file sharing?

Well it’s all incorporated in the American governments plan of control, they want to censor the internet and they have started the ball rolling. I am currently producing a film about this stuff and I can tell you that google is already censoring like a house on fire. Material that I have collected over the years is no longer available and if you go back to the first invasion of Iraq and try to find the media propaganda from that time there is very little left, if your not looking you wont miss it. With google being an American corporation and also the biggest search engine it is hardly a surprise to find that important information no longer shows up in a search as much as it used to.

This is where the internet really kicks in: Thank fuck for duplication !!!

In the past books where the topic of “copyrights” then we moved on to the cassette and recording the radio, then it was the video recorder and now its downloading. We all learn by copying each other and new ideas are created from copying and manipulating other peoples work, we have been doing this for centuries. Once you start putting a price tag on the freedom to copy, edit, manipulate and expand you are wittingly killing creation and without creation we all become stagnant as a global collective and this is why groups like anonymous have been formed and whether you agree or not with their methods they do stand for net neutrality and a neutral internet is a problem for the old institutes and governments because YOU decide where you get your knowledge from and bypass the media propaganda.

These are the most important and interesting times that we live in and people are starting to wake from centuries of dictators and bullies but there is much work to be done before we start to see the shift in power, the power to the people and not the corporate greed that is running the human population into the dirt.

Don’t believe the hype !!!
