Hello guys. I've an active bass and i use a MacBook pro with logic pro and Behringwe UM2 audio interface. I'd connected my guitar to the DI input jack and NOT to the interface preamp jack. My mac is slightly compromised with loud fan noise.
My doubt is: Is there any chance the guitar preamp will be affected by any current through the interface n to my guitar? Are there any chances this MIGHT Happen?

PS: I'm a noob in this Electrical field. Please help me out.

No. Nothing should harm anything. An interface wont pass any signal that will harm an active preamp. Even if phantom power is on (48v), but if microphones can take a hit of phantom power and not get hurt, a preamp in a bass guitar should be fine.
