The problem is that Catalonia has one of the highest concentrations of Islamites. Doesn't that tell us something?..

The problem of Catalonia is that both (its autonomous government and the central government of Spain) are corrupt to the marrow .... and use the problem of independence as a "smoke curtain" to cover their shit
Neither of them is legitimized to give lessons of morality, democracy, or justice .......
The central government (Mariano Rajoi PP) has for many years ignored the dialogue with the Catalans, (since its ideology very close to fascism, despises the rest of "nationalities" of the Iberian peninsula: Basque Country, Galicia, Catalonia) Only Spain should exist according to how they understand the country.

Mariano Rajoi, and its form of "non-government" is being the greater factory to create independents, that has had Spain ever..

It's nice to read a response so similar to my own thoughts: I'm a Spaniard, but not from Catalonia. And I agree with EVERYTHING you've said on your post. To quote the famous British essayist Samuel Johnson: "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel". There's no better definition for both Catalonian independentists (mostly those who come from the former corrupt CIU party) and Mariano Rajoy's PP.

the world doesn´t care about Catalonia independence. Don´t rally here. You are all spanish or catalonian, use a spanish forum.
Catalonian petitum is quite silly, and boring.

Oh my... this here? Don't we have enough with all news channels bombarding 24/7 about it? Freedom of speech was abolished in Spain since the "Mordaza" law was born, anyway. Nothing new here.

    Make, share and love music!

This is not an ideological forum. But Jackson's sentence is extremely ideological. If you consider it to be true Poland without patriotism, it would not have the right to exist. Only through patriotism exists. Otherwise it would be enslaved by Russia and Germany. I do not know what is the real story of Spain. I do not know what's going on there. I watched films about romantic communists murdered by Franco's fascists. Different videos in different contexts. I do not learn history from mowies. And I do not believe in noble Communists. In Poland, the Communists slaughtered millions of people. As you may think I am from Poland. I have lived in several countries and have always met the sympathy of their people but have always been made to understand that I am not at home. The more I appreciate freedom and I am a patriot.

nice catch-phrase. Breitbart style. Quite funny too, since the people complaining are mostly nationalist fascists

This has been going on for a long long time - this particular conflict is inside classical books in different Melania.

Bruxell is probably as good a solution as anything else, the issue at the heart of this can European Federalism exist.

It's one side of the coin. The other side is a world run by a globalist government controlled by the banks and huge corporations. We are fucked either way!

I'll try to keep the topic music related, so what happens to local culture? A lot of music is defined by it's surroundings. For example, present day London has a minority of British people living there, and the working class are being pushed out altogether. So would we have another Clash or Sex Pistols coming out of London today? No, I don't think so. I don't even know what London is anymore, it's just a cosmopolitan entity.

Well if asked about the music, "The Reapers" the national anthem is getting a bit itchy these days.Im amazed at the current wave of fervour for the lyrics.

Lyrics written in 1899 but narrating about some events in the XVIII century. Stylistically one of those European sins of the time, offering a romanticised vision of history. Some how it seemed to offer some consolation to the exploited workers of the worst years of the industrial revolution, because the song really stresses a lot the theme of the injustice and courage, while at the same time, it managed to please the bourgeoisie, of course the ones who paid for the song, with allegories about the generosity of nature, prompt to reward (them) for their rightness in specie, in the song is wheat, but it sounds more as victory, prosperity and future.By that time, the theme of the future was trendy too, even though the local car manufacturers just managed cars with a battery that lasted 4 km.

The reapers has been a success this week, in a couple of them, it might turn somehow embarrassing.Hits have that, they age catastrophically, a bit like the power offered by old time batteries, unreliable!

So I have heard... Catalonia is prosperous..and sick of being "taxed" to pay for the rest of the country.. that is not doing as well..
and therefore wants to separate in order to manage the fruits of success rather than sending it elsewhere
this is not my position.. just something I have heard amongst the rest of the "news"

there appears to be nothing very harmonious nor musical with regards to this current cacophony...
