Cant open Ableton 11, but why?

    Hello,

    I dl the new Ableton Live 11 and installed it on my mac mini which works fine. But when i installed it on my macbook pro it says "The application "Ableton Live 11 suite" can't be opened".
    I really don't understand why, because both macs use Mojave. My macbook is from 2013 though, but i didnt find anything anywhere that older macbooks cant run ableton 11.
    Does anybody know what the problem could be?

    First, try to code sign the app in terminal:

    sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Ableton Live 11 Suite.app

    If that doesn't fix the issue try to batchmod the app

    open terminal,

    type chmod +x /Applications/Ableton\ Live\ 11\ Suite.app

    and reopen live. :wink:
