So i dl'd Harrison Mix Bus 2 from Audioz...

I have 64-bit Mbp w/ Mav 10.9.4.

The installer says to 1st install Jack... which is an app i wasnt previously familiar with, and requires a restart once installing; and then, (after restart i expect) drag Mixbus app to apps folder.


Well... I did that, but when I clicked on Mixbus (which i dragged to the dock), a prompt came up that said something about not having Jack installed and then something about having to connect to the "servers" or whatever.

I then went to the Jack website, looked at some FAQs real quick, and read something about 64-bit Macs possibly needing to install the 32-bit Jack instead (which, inside the Mixbus installer, there were 2 Jack .mpkg to pick... obviously one 32 & one 64-bit).

I tried that but once again, upon trying to run Mixbus 2, i get the same "No Jack installed, blah, blah... somethin 'servers'.." prompt... and i think the box also had 2 options to click-on... one to "connect" or "download" (one of the 2), and another to "quit" i think.

Anybody know what the issue might be??...
or, if you are on a 64-bit mac with Mav 10.9.4, and you successfully installed and have run Mixbus 2, what exactly dis you do?.. cuz I did exactly what .nfo said to.


Also, i had already blocked Mixbus with Tcp-Block AND, i have internet turned-off while trying this stuff.

Do i have to be running another DAW as well?... or... Are you supposed to keep the internet "on"?

 

I don't use Mixbus but on their Support site they say it works with all MAC OS!

dont think its it though... that person explained that when he ran the app, absolutely nothing happened.. but for me, the "jack" prompt comes up... will keep looking though
