Cant calibrate my new speakers with sonarworks

    Hi All

    I Cant calibrate my new speakers (Behringer a 2031 truth) with sonarworks softare and orginal measure mic

    Any help would be appreciated

    I get feedback noise and then i am afraid to blow up my speakers while doing this
    those behringer truth a2031 monitors are very sensitive

    Have you got direct monitoring switched on - if so turn it off.

    As you noticed, your monitors reproduce the sound coming from your microphone. They shouldn't in this case.
    The solution is to stop it. Either you have something turned on in your DAW, in your system or in your audio interface. Make sure that everything is jacked in where it should be, any direct monitoring via the interface is off, any monitoring within the DAW and/or drivers is off, and also stereo mixer in Windows is off as well.

    Honestly tho, "monitor calibration" is at least somewhat overrated. If you listen to professionally mixed music on your monitors and in your room, you will gradually calibrate your ears and brain instead, and you have to do it anyways.
    And if you seek professional mastering environment, your behringers won't give it to you, calibrated or not.
