My Ableton Indexer.exe shuts down automatically everytime I run Ableton. Usually after 2-5 minutes. If I open a big Live Set it usualy crashes quicker - it kind of seems like it crashes when Ableton has to "work" a lot.

I have tried this before on an earlier version of Live, and when it happened, I just deleted my database file and had Live rebuild the database upon reopening Live. This doesn't work for me this time. I'm on a Windows 10 PC running Live 10.0.1

I tried the following:

1. Deleted the Live database file in C:\Users\[my username]\AppData\Local\Ableton
   
   
2. Restarted the computer several times
   
   
3. Opened Live both as an administrator and not as administrator

None of it works.

I have a feeling it might be a single corrupt file or folder on my sample hard drive, but I have no idea how to locate this file if that is truly the problem. From what I can tell from crash reports, there are no reports regarding an Ableton Index.exe crash - it seems the reports only cover when Live.exe or a project crashes.

Any ideas?
