Hello, this isn't my first time asking for help on this matter and honestly I'm embarrassed to keep asking but I can't give up. I keep trying to install Amplitube 3.12 and for the life of me I can't get it. I know that I'm so close. My problem is the same every time. Its the .html file that is supposed to give me my 32 digit Digital ID. It never opens for me. I'll have my computer offline. I'll have my Wrappit Wrapper working and ready for me to give it the 32 digits. I'll read the R2R.txt instructions again for the billionth time, but every time I hit my .html file, it just takes me to the screen telling me that I'm unable to move forth with anything because my computer is offline. Never a mention or a glimpse of a damned 32 digit Digital ID. What the hell am I doing wrong?!!?

Does anybody out there have any idea what I'm missing? I'm about to seriously lose it. Please help if your able and willing. Thank you so much.

And also, I sincerely hope that I went about posting this correctly and somewhere at least close to where it is supposed to be. Again, thanks.

    hello, h4te,

you were, by present time on actually are, really very close... *yes*

when, if, one finds that saved html file, then one opens it with some text editor, there will be (the hidden html tag does the hiding of it in web browsers) the data one can not see or seem to find... *yes*

this here me hopes the solution you are seeking for is this, all the best...

    later edit... *yes*

thanks for the perfectly correct simplified explanation...

I've had this problem with both Amplitude and T-RackS in the past, especially since I've cloned/switched out my laptop's hard drive a few times, which requires reauthorizing them to my computer (or hard drive). Also, I'm on Snow Leopard on my Mac. Unfortunately, the only solution I've come up with requires uninstalling the latest version of Amplitude 3 and installing an older version, with IK's old-school serial verification. Once you have that set up, you can install the latest version as an update and not have to go through their new serial verification process, which is kind of wonky.

    Dear friends,

Get the latest version [v3.13.1_(R2R)], use KeyGen, forget ID bhla bhla bhla... Authorization button or "Generate for Other Computer" option.
Only select the right product and press "Register This Computer (Windows)" Only this button, nothing else...
Thats it. If you are using any Anti-Virus, disable it before intallation.
I'm sure that will work fine.

Hey Everybody! Sorry about the disappearance. I had some lousy health issues that took me out of the game for a moment. I'm back and still having no luck with the damned thing. Ha! This time, of all things, my Authorization Manager kept crashing / timing out, or whatever on me. Ya' know, I decided that I can live without all the cool newer things that have been added to Amplitube since version 3.7.1. This is an older version that I had installed previously, so I just said, to hell with it, got rid of all the newest Amp 3 stuff from my computer and reinstalled 3.7.1. Its not by choice of course, but it will certainly be better than nothing.

I really want to thank all of you for your generous time and great advice. THANKS EVERYBODY!!!!

Oh! Its a little late to mention this now but I'm using a Macintosh 10.6.8.
