Cannot Find "computer Id" For Windows 8.1

    I have been vigorously typing in everything i find and have no luck.
    any feed back is appreciated and a push further out of noobdom

    The term Comp ID is a bit deceiving.. it has nothing to do with your comp specs (well, it does, but forget bout that..)

    Just install, (update) the SW, start the vst (e.g. in your DAW), find a button that says Authorize Offline and click that.. I think, first thing you'll see is Copy this computer ID

    Well.. copy it! :wink:

    Totally right. I just add that you can have many Computer IDs, it just depends of the soft who makes it. When we talk about KGns etc there's not an official/unique one.
