To measure your room this is not suitable. It's a large diaphragm condenser mic with a cardioid pattern. Measuring mics have a linear frequency response and omnidirectional polar pattern.

You need a very specific measuring microphone.
If you use other microphones, the results will be incorrect and the correction curve of your room will be wrong.

Here are the 2 microphones you should use so that sonarworx can give you the best.

    The original:
    Sonarworks XREF 20 Mic - 58€ @ Thomann

    And the Challenger:
    The Behringer ECM8000 - 36 € @ Thomann
It has the same characteristics as the XREF

I measure with my Rode NT2A and it works just fine. Not sure about your mic though but there are presets for certain mics, check on their website.

I'm a bit late to the party but anyway, this is my experience :) I used to calibrate using a Rode NT2-A and I've only recently bought the official XREF20 mike. It was actually not that far off. Ignore the low-end: my sub was in for repairs when I calibrated with the Rode, and it was back with the XREF 20.

I do notice the difference in the high-end: calibrated with the Rode I had the feeling it was a bit too harsh. The XREF20 fixed that. But all-in-all, you could use a regular microphone and end up quite close. The hard part is to find out how close your regular mike ends up (Google might help).
