Hey I was just looking around and I saw the sister site mentioned and I wanted to take a look at it.

Well, I view it somehow as a positive thing that so many know this site but have no clue about the other , although finding the other is not very difficult, so I guess that has a slightly negative feel.
I can't recall how I found this site. That has a bit of a derp feel.

 

You missed the gist of what I wrote. We had a thread dedicated to this question. Anyone looking for the answer used to go there. Now, we are going to have 100 threads asking the same question. Therefore, there was no reason to close the previous thread considering that the answer never was explicitly stated. Yes, @Olymoon mentioned that the sister site is AudioZ but we can't link to it.

 

Sorry if it seemed like I was rebutting your post. I did not miss the gist of what you wrote.
I only made the reply go to your reply because there is a negative aspect about requests for the SS, and I had a positive thought about it.

 

No need to excuse yourself bro, I know what you were trying to convey. I feel same way, that is why I can't find any justification in the closing of the other thread. Those that complain about such requests are the same ones that you never see helping others around here. They have nothing better to do than whine and %&%^$ about everything.

 

The other thread was closed because I write the answer in the open. So any member can do a search and find the answer there. There is no need to link to it, as once you know the name you can find it with Google.
What else is needed?
Last but not least, we should stop using the term sister site in our comments as we can use AudioZ without breaking any rule if we don't link to it.

So for the last time I write it here again. Sister site is AudioZ .

 

No we will not have more threads about this because they will be deleted. Members have to use the search function before posting a new thread.

exactly, but with one difference. There is only one answer about this "what is sister site " question.
And the other thread that I closed was not related to sister site in title, so if you do a search by titles for "sister site" you dont find it.
This one will be found.

100% correct but the majority of times they ask for name and link. Anyhow, the older thread should be tagged with "Sister site" in case they conduct a search. This one shows up. the other does not.

 

With one thread showing the answer it's enough.

 

OK Looks like the algorithm has passed theory test.
