Hi there. i have a problem. i tried to update massive which didn't work
i then tried to reinstall it but keep getting this error .

unable to uninstall old version of NI massive. please uninstall yourself.

The installation source for this product is not available, verify that the source exists and that you can access it.


i have deleted all the folders and registry for massive. but when i try to reinstall it i always get this message

any ideas would be appreciated

it may because you have the update only and not the actual full installer
if you use R2R Version , wait for someone else here to help you
cause i have komplete 10 ultimate & i have no idea how to help you further more sorry
maybe someone here who know more than i know about that can help with instruction

Edit: Try to install the latest demo from NI website to correct/reset your registry entries.

 

We will say that you may not know because you are new here. But, I'm on a MAC. What I do or offer may not help you since you use a different system. A lot of members suggest putting the details of your equipment in your signature line. It's really helpful for those who want to help. And, you don't have to remember or type it with each inquiry.

As for your original question, I ran into installation issues before. I definitely recommend starting with

An install with the Demo from the site is a full installer. That should help you either uninstall correctly next time or give you a platform to use an R2R update.

Hi there thanks for the info. i will post os etc in future.
i have already tried the NI massive demo. i think the problem is a later update i got from a torrent site that's probably been put out by NI themselves to disable massive cracked versions. I am going to reformat my pc soon . hopefully this will work

Yeah, trust me on this. NI gives absolutely ZERO F-sharps about your cracked plugins. I'm fairly certain they can see what's on your device with Service Center, and plenty of users have unregistered libraries in their databases. Crack on until you can buy!
