Hi everyone, I was saving a flac file and adding tags in Mp3tag. I think the sequence was rename then copy from one folder to another then Mp3tag and then I cant remember - I think I tried to update rename the file before it had completed writing to the disk and now I cant open the folder that the file is in. I can see the file in Mp3tag but I cant update it. I'm happy to just delete the file or the folder as I have a backup.

When I try to use pc explorer it just fills in the bar to 90% and sits there. When I try to delete the folder the delete box opens and hangs on calculating.....

This happened t to me a few years ago and I cant remember how I fixed it - I've tried the cmd repair and the scan thing and restarted a few times - you guys are smart - PLEASE HELP...! I cant have a folder or file just sat there not working .....

One of the many MANY things I tried got it done - weird one but all good, and yes I was working on this for a long time before I asked a question here ---- it was as if my computer was waiting for me to ask for help -- and then the cheeky little so and so just starts working again ----

 

ATME, threatening the PC can really help.
