Hi guys,

I'm on the verge of buying a Native Instruments Kontrol S61 keyboard and ideally Komplete, but I am wondering whether it will be possible to use this with unregistered Kontakt libraries somehow.

I know you cannot normally use unregistered Kontakt libraries unless you have a cracked version of Kontakt, so really wondering if I buy the above whether I will be able to use all the Komplete stuff and unregistered Kontakt libraries with the keyboard.

I would assume this would have to be done by having legit versions of all the Komplete software and a cracked version of Kontakt. But would this work with the keyboard and would everything appear in Komplete Kontrol, or would that have to be cracked too?

Annoyingly it seems like the two options are either to go fully legit or fully cracked, but I'd rather buy all of the NI stuff. I just can't afford to also buy the Kontakt libraries that I want to use as well, and that's the main thing I want to use with the keyboard.

Also wondering if I just buy the keyboard without Komplete how to get that up and running with cracked Kontact. I do actually own Kontakt already, and not buying Komplete would allow me to buy some of the Kontakt libraries I want.

Ideally I want to avoid using cracked software as much as possible and avoid any technical nightmares that might go along with it, but I do ideally want to be able to use unregistered Kontakt libraries.

My head hurts! Can anyone help?

I believe there is Komplete Kontrol cracked. That should do it.

KK on Logic Pro X and Sierra for me anyway works only up to Kontakt ver 5.5.2 (VST). So 5.6 and 5.6.1 will crash logic when loading any preset in KK in logic. But the full paid ver or K'ed ver of Komplete Kontrol seems to handle the k'ed versions of other NI products just fine so far. So I use 5.6.1 Kontakt as an AU and 5.5.2 Kontakt as a VST to work in Komplete Knontrol.

 

So I installed a cracked version of Komplete Kontrol v1.7, but my instruments are either saying 'the version of Kontakt is too old to load this file" or they are running in demo mode.

Not sure if it is because I had installed the demo of Komplete Kontrol previously, although I did delete and remove most of the prefs.

Or maybe I need to fine a newer version of Kontakt?

Just got the A49 and tried to use a crack of the KK software. Only found one that works for the S-series sadly. Anyone else made it work?

I know your post is from 2017 but I'm thinking of buying a used KKs61 and the owner says he doesn't have any software.
I would like to ask you how you solved the problem, What are the advantages of using Komplete? can i just only use my dozen cracked kontakt lybrarias?
will the key lights work for scales and chords without komplete using only kontakt, is this system something made with the internal dsp or do you need software? the only legitimate thing I wanted to use are the drivers that i just download from the NI site because i don't need the registration.

Use latest Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt from sister site. Forget about NI. My 88MkII performs perfectly.

Yes you can since I do too. You might run into some issues though such as libraries not showing up in Kontrol. Or libraries and VST's showing up but not being accessable.
