    Yes and yes.

Mount the "Metal Machine.iso" EZX on your Mac.

Open the "Install" folder and you will see a folder "EZHOME", open it. Copy the "EZX_MetalMachine" folder (it has all the files you need) to your "EZdrummer" library folder (located where you have all your other EZdrummer libraries). Then copy the "Midi" folder to the "MY MIDIFILES" folder which is in the "Midi" folder (that was the only way I was able to see and get the Midi files to work).

If you don't have the "Metal Machine.iso" you can use the same procedure above and just copy the files over to your Mac. Personally I would grab the "Metal Machine.iso" and go that route just to play it safe.

You will need to follow the R2R instructions + run the keygen on your Mac.

Launch your DAW open either EZdrummer or Superior Drummer and you will see it there and it will work.

Note: You didn't mention whether you are using EZdrummer v1 or v2 or if you are using Superior Drummer. If you are using EZdrummer 2 you will need to update Metal Machine with the "Toontrack EZX Metal Machine v1.5.0 Update OSX - R2R" or it won't work (I would also update EZdrummer 2 to v2.0.2). If you are using Superior Drummer just install the latest update and all your EZdrummer libraries will show up and all the Midi files as well.

Hope that helps you out and good luck!

Edit: A "straight" copy by itself will not work as I wrote you will still need to follow the R2R instructions + run the keygen on your Mac to get it working.

Thank you very much, Ill try soon.

I use EZDrummer 2, and I have updated to 2.0.2
So, I just should copy these audio files and midi files to "libary/applicationsupport/ezdrummer", then update metal machine to v1.5.0, then run R2R keygen and generate authorization file?

One more. In the EZDrummer 2 browser, I see the MIDI folders/files, but in the search tab, where I can use the TAP function, there is only the built-in midi files and the made of metal midi files(but I have installed this expansion). Of all MIDI files, what have I manually copied in EZdrummers folder, from these are only available the "Metal Beats" midi files. I have some MIDI packages 2 times downloaded...for example, I have downloaded one big MIDI package, and separatly some MIDI expansions. The difference is only the folder's name. For example the "Libary of the extreme III" have [email protected], and the other Libary of the extreme III is 000211@. And I had replaced to the 00211@, and now I can see this MIDI files in search tab too, in EZDrummer...My ebglish is not the best, but I hope you can understand.
Have someone the foldersname, or how can make, that is visible in search tab too?

Yes, yes and yes (again)

If you copied the EZdrummer Metal Machine files from your Windows machine to your main HD on your Mac then you would copy the "EZX_MetalMachine" folder to:

    HD/Library/Application Support/EZdrummer

    Update it.

    Run the keygen.

Good luck and I hope that helps you!

The Midi files will only show up in EZdrummer 2 via two routes (from my understanding - others might know another way):

    1) If you installed any EZdrummer EZX from the its installer image on your Mac.
    2) You manually copied the Midi files to:

HD/Library/Application Support/EZdrummer/Midi/MY MIDIFILES ---> sorry for the all caps where I have them but that is exactly how it is on my Mac.

When you manually copy the Midi files, as you are doing, EZdrummer will not see them; 1) because they have not been installed from their installer; and 2) they are not in the correct directory/folder. Which is why you need to place the Midi files into the "MY MIDIFILES" folder and not the main Midi folder. Look in the HD/Library/Application Support/EZdrummer folder and scroll down to the Midi folder then scroll down to the "MY MIDIFILES" folder and that is where you need to place the Metal Machine "18@EZX_METAL_MACHINE" folder. The "MY MIDIFILES" folder is the same location where you need to install other Midi files you have.

I have many Midi files that I have placed into that directory and they all show up in EZdrummer.

I don't have my DAW open right now but from memory, once your DAW is open and you open EZdrummer and go to the Grooves, scroll down to the User Libraries and there you will see MY MIDIFILES, click on it and you will then see all your Midi files (that you copied to that directory).

Good luck and have fun!
