can i buy used push 1 and use it with cracked ableton? is it also possible to do push firmware updates with cracked Live?

well i got push 2 and it didnt work with my cracked ableton, so as i got live light free with push i installed it and it updated the firmware, not sure why cracked live never saw it as a device

 

both one and two works fine with cracked, no issues here

 

which version push you got? and did live update the firmware with cracked live?

 

exactly what i would love to know. my idea is to get a used push 1 if i can update the firmware up to live 9.7...
or maybe get a free trial version of live 9.7, update the push firmware and continue with the cracked one.. would that work?

 

yer that will work bro, im not sure if i can update live light to live 10 light, if not ill dl the live 10 demo and update the firmware and install the crack if it appears, not sure if ableton changed the way you auth live, and also im not sure if push 1 can update the firmware, because the display is different.

Push 1 is compatible with the latest versions of Live 9 and 10

We plan to continue supporting Push 1 and to adapt our new features to it, whenever possible. Still, some of the new features have been implemented with Push 2 in mind, and can be hardly ported to the different hardware.

New features available for Push 1 in Live 9

• It is now possible to load VST and AU plug-ins. Hotswapping plug-ins with Push enables browsing the plug-in's presets (AU only).
• Samples can be browsed from Push (will be instantiated in the new Simpler).
• It is possible to preview sounds from the Push browser.

What's your OS? I know windows 7 was a little bit fucky with Push 2. It actually got to the point where Ableton recommended I update to Win 10 because they couldn't fix some issues I was having.

I was super pissed for a while but ultimately I did put Win 10 on my production PC

There are other, non-Live reasons why Push might not work though. There's a whole Support Q&A section of Ableton's website dedicated to helping people with stuff like this.

 

im on windows 7 64bit ultimate, and im staying with it, might have been my fault because if i remember when i got push 2 last april im sure i blocked live in my firewall which would explain it, because i blocked it with avast today then started live, with push 2 on and live crashed

 

So I can buy a new push 2 and it will work with a cracked copy of Live 10? Need to make sure before I make the purchase...

 

Omg. I thinking about buying Push 2 but I don't thinking about issues with cracked Ableton 10.

You can't use Cracked Push with Ableton but you can use Cracked Ableton with Push

 

It works just fine.
