Can giga3 (gigasampler/gigastudio 3) instruments be encrypted?

I searched for this a lot and found one site that said yes, and then a lot of nothing.

I ask because I want to buy a $80 giga3 format instrument and then open it in FL Studio's DirectWave and save it as an .instr file for FL Studio Mobile, but I know that if it is encrypted that would not be possible (unless the encription circa 2005 was weak and there is a possibility to decrypt?)
