I got a wireless soundbar that often has a sound delay when I switch to any streaming app. It gets fixed when I reset it tho. I've been doing it A LOT these days, I wonder if it can have a bad effect to the device. Thanks guys.

It shouldn't as this reference says, but it could be a hassle to always configure your settings the way you like it. Turning on and off might be easier than doing a reset, see if that fixes the delay first.

If it makes an audible "pop" when switching on/off then you might have issues down the line, otherwise as others have said it's just a hassle.

a quick transient spike through the speakers is not a problem at all (if you have the volume down low)
