Ashton Forbes is a journalist that has been following the mysterious case of MH370. He might have received the original videos of MH370 disappearing that were uploaded to YouTube in 2014.
Once decrypted, there will be 4 videos and 1 PDF

Link to tweet of the encrypted files where you can download it:

mirrors of the encrypted zip: https://turbobit.net/fr6r7z7n7wsh.html
    https://rapidgator.net/file/5a713ec3025defa5a62f108340870289/calebdownload.rar.html

There is 1 person using 8 NVIDIA A10g's to guess the password but it would be spectacular if someone from the audio community or a cracker guesses the password first

edit: the password was found CAL084333GAUN370509files .
the legitimacy of the files are uncertain. the 2 IMG videos appear to be random videos from Youtube and the pdf is a unclassified report about a drone. The 2 videos of the airplane had been available before

I'm not sure, but I think this violates the website's rules.

lol How much brute forcing can you do a second with 240GB VRAM?

Idk if you are being sarcastic or not, but it definitely might edge on the line of "Dishonored Content".

On one hand, you can't place orders to crack VSTs here, right? So, this would be skirting that rule, considering the title. Additionally, I think the link provided is also not allowed, and the topic being discussed has a 'strange' tone. But well, the moderators will know better about this. I'll notify him in case he wants to edit it and make it more 'subliminal' or discuss it privately

With due respect to R2R, I don't think it is possible to anyone. As far as I know crackers usually use patches. You can't really do much without the password.

    doubt this will happen because..

ZIP files are encrypted with AES-256, and the key is derived using a slow key-derivation function (KDF), which makes bruteforce and dictionary attacks generally infeasible. There are no currently known ways to bypass the encryption.

btw. anybody remember that guy that lost the password for his encrypted device that he stored about a quarter billion worth of bitcoins on? he said he made peace with the loss..

The first post mentions one user trying is using 8 ndvidia cuda gpus. Probably Kali and hashcat with massive rainbow tables. If it cannot be cracked why are they wasting their time?

I think the reason someone might not crack whatever; is because at first glance, this looks fake to me. They have been looking for that plane for something like 10 years.

Usually when someone's webpage or whatever says beware of scams and fakes, it's worth thinking about. A reverse Red Flag. Like when you read about a compressor plugin and the marketing says it's not "just another compressor"; that's exactly what it is.

It's not really a mystery. Somebody played Nickelback, the passengers went crazy, and the plane went down. Simple.

As to why it couldn't be found... the vast ocean is absolutely efficient at hiding stuff even much bigger than planes. They had found some pieces of it, which is also quite normal for a plane that crashed. Seriously speaking there are many reasons a plane could crash. It's not aliens, though.

Isn't AES-256 practically unbreakable through brute-force attacks? If the password is something completely random, generated with some unknown software, you are basically out of luck. It's probably possible to guess the password if a human choose something stupidly simple like "password123", but it would most likely still take a lot of resources and time.

Seems like some bs conspiracy theory, but what do I know....

Ashton Forbes has refuted every point made by Corridor Crew. The successful decryption of the archive could help us understand these events better. The pdf file could be a smoking gun
