    Does Cakewalk by BandLab require an internet connection to work?
    While Cakewalk by BandLab will require an internet connection to install, activate, and update, you will not need an internet connection to run the program.

    ty for info but who have proof bandlab will have website in 1 month? do not wish to learn daw if useless auth

    Bandlab.com is all about being on-line, social, sharing, and collaboration. I wouldn't expect that they care much about our off-line workstations:

    "Cakewalk back from the dead..."

    This is great news. As an old time user of Cakewalk products I see this revival very positively and I say lets give BandLab a chance and see how the projet evolves.

    I'm sure all Sonar users welcome this news with as much optimism than I do. :welcome:

    Guys who installed this, does it include ProChannel PC4K S-Type Channel Compressor, ProChannel PC4K S-Type Expander Gate and the ProChannel Concrete Limiter?

    Only the PC4K S-type Bus Compressor is included. No channel comp, no expander gate, no limiter.

    I really hate that. Have always hated that.
    Love how these days paths are able to be altered easily.
    I really don't understand why some developers just can't seem to make it happen (?)

    what you expect? alone as i saw the installed, i knew i wouldnt even want to try it, because well its made for those fast who run their DAW in the borwser or via mobile, those people dont need to select components and where to save it, bcs dont even know how much storage space they have.
    so we are def not the target audience.

    i bet they will pull the plug from Cakewalk and convert people over to bandlab. (cloud service)
    its another dead for cakewalk for sure.
