anyone has functional setup on CachyOS (Arch Linux) running RME HDSPe AIO and Reaper?

so far I was able to figure out Reaper version from official site crashes, but version from CachyOS Package Installer works fine,
RME appears to be natively supported, though controls are limimited to clunky Terminal-based alsamixer,
Reaper fails to work with either ALSA or JACK but works with PulseAudio at least,

audio works fine on output channels 1/2 (balanced analog out on breakout),
my quesion for now - how do you make audio play from headphones out on RME (I think it should be channel 3/4) when there's no TotalMix and no audio routing in Linux?

PS: I'll be tinkering with Linux more, and if things turn out well I'll write a guide for anyone else interested...

 

You should add (inside Reaper) an additional send from master channel ("Software Out") to outputs 3/4. The question is: Does Reaper see those outputs?

 

Reaper fails to see any ALSA device,
but alsamixer (terminal) sees RME interface and its controls react to it

This will not answer your original question, but anyway...

Some months ago I started to test Linux Mint. I own an RME Fireface UCX, but I didn't bother to unplug it from my main system. So I plugged an old M-Audio Fast Track Ultra (which, by the way, does not have official drivers for Windows 10/11). And Mint recognized it immediately (there is even mixer control via terminal). I installed Reaper and it worked right from the start with this interface. Then I installed Wine 11 staging + a special version of yabridge which is compatible with Wine 10+ and found that every Windows plugin that I tried just worked.
