Hello everyone.

I want to build a studio with the capabilities as making voice recordings for all sorts of jobs including animation, ads,radio, all voice related stuff.

There are 3 details that i want to incorporate in this project:

1 - I want to include a soundbooth cabinet like this one (that makes no need to make changes to the room and it can bem mounted anywhere if upgrading the area of work : http://www.demvox.es/index.php/es/productos-y-precios/cabina-eco.html this is the cheapest one.....

2 - I want to have a system(computer + hardware) where i can produce a final mix while previewing for video.

3 - Using ISDN or Cable i would like to be able to make recordings in real time for other studios.

For last, my budget. We'll i'm ashamed but i only have 15000 euros.

Can i dream of anything with this budget or can i go straight to whatever i was doing before ? Any ideias about mixing desk, 1 good pre-amp and mic, what kind of computer do i need and other audio hardware related gear ?

u lucky man, i guess you can make a nice build with those money ...buy software cuz its cheap ...build your pc with best brands on the market, you wont regret ...use ssd's ...build your acoustic pannels alone, its cheap and you will have more ...good luck

 

Thats a decent budget, mate. I think the first thing you should consider is a decent Mac tower, hate to say this, but those things are somewhat industry standard in most recording/multimedia studios. For mics, I would say anything above the entry level line of whatever brand you choose. In my opinion anything mid range and above, price wise, will keep you from quickly realizing that the equipment you invested in is cheap and needs replacing. As for pre amps, at your budget you will find an array of very usable 500's series preamps, eq's, and compressors, which are just as good as full blown racked hardware I hear. The last thing I think you should consider is the UAD Apollo as your sound card because of the dual function of being a boss ass card and processor for UAD plugins.................. those UAD plugins don't phuck around. Thats pretty much the production equipment side, not too sure on the whole desk and booth situation. Im sure someone here will give some advice on that sooner or later. Good luck with your build!

Thank you for your comment. I'm really into soundboth's that can also be used to record a guitar. I don´t feel confortable without that sense of emptiness (silence) when you enter a booth. Maybe because i'm used to it.
