    Hi all,

When visiting the Sister Site twice today I received a pop-up warning from Kaspersky that my browser was attempting to download adware. I haven't received this or any other similar warning message before on countless visits to the site. An admittedly uncomprehensive web search hasn't turned up any info on it.

Has anyone else had this today, or in the past?

Login first, then use the sister site

I'll do that, thanks. Though it still remains that I've never had the issue before when visiting the site without logging in. A known issue?

You will get ads until you login, its always been like that I guess. And what you were warned about isn't malware (malware as in exe and stuff), just a javascript file, used by the browser for fancy things.

Not necessarily. Use NoScript and uBlock and you'll see no ads.

no, that's not a solution. that shit should not be at AudioZ. like i said many times before, the fault is on our advertisers shoulders. i'm removing popoups until they make sure it won't happen again.

For me the popups disappeared since few weeks when I don't log in on sister site. Using firefox, no more ads or popups. I never had such things when logged in tho

Ublock Origin + Poper Blocker or Popup Blocker (strict) work fine if you do not have a sister site account

You can also subscribe to custom filter lists in your ad-blocker settings
