This sounds crazy... I don't know much about maschine but it sounds like its borderline between proprietary hardware and software/midi controler. Imagine if Roland made you transfer a license like this everytime you sold or bought one of their keyboards, which may or may not have separate expansions in them as well... Sounds kind of gypsy

 

I've sold several NI hardware devices, and to be fair their process is usually easy. Not so much during sales due to the amount of other support calls.
The problem normally falls with sellers not following the process of obtaining a simple transfer ID, or them selling stuff that can't be transferred. Buyers should do some research and even contact NI prior to sending some random money via the internet.

Hi all wonderful people,

Is there a way to unlock Maschine version: 2.7.10 (R605) (PC)
I have the MK3, If I am going back to an earlier version of Maschine that is unlocked, my MK3 isn't recognized anymore...understandable because the drivers are not there for the newer MK3...

So can anyone help me, so I can load all the Expansions that are in the "wild"
Or do I have to wait...
What I've also read is that there will be a newer Maschine software soon. (3.0)

As I told you on your thread, 2.7.10 has been "unlocked" since October/November 2018.

 

I can not Find it anywhere on the net, they have deleted them all...
And I need the version for Windows!
