hello can anyone help me how to protect my pc from local acces before my operating system starts and i don't mean a bios password because you can bypass that something like a hdd password like on laptops or bootloader password protection or somekind for windows 10

I'm sure Windows 10 have advanced security features that can help you with that but I'm not using it.

Anyways, if someone can bypass BIOS passwords will bypass others as well. But more layers of protection are always good.

Do you mean bitlocker? That will stop anyone accessing your HDD contents

If you have MBR you can use Truecrypt 7.1a (not newer ones). It is (or it was) the safest hhd/volume encryption, there are legends about NSA worried about it.

I don’t know if it exists today but I remember when dell or hp had security at the bios level.
When it was on there was a password before the post.
