    Hi!

Can anyone recommend some new books on audio?

I have read some of the classics like Mastering Audio by Bob Kats, but are there any new interesting ones?
I recently read Audio Mastering: The Artists (Perspectives on Music Production) which was interviews with some well-known Mastering Engineers and found it quite disappointing to be honest - most of them had an expectable start of career (right place at the right time - making coffee at some fancy mastering studio) and a lot of them were moaning about loudness. Only interesting story was Mandy Parnell.

I find my books mostly from Library Genesis.

Not really a new book but check out 'Modern Recording Techniques' by David Miles Huber. It's a really great resource

No problem with that at all. You can mention the site, just don't use live links.

Thank you so much for these recommendations! You can't even imagine how much I love listening to audiobooks. This is very convenient for me. I would like to advise you to read The Book Thief, after which you can watch the movie. I first learned about this book at https://samploon.com/free-essays/the-book-thief/ The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is a historical fiction novel about World War II, which takes place in Germany. Told through the eyes of Death, this novel provides an insight into what life is like for ordinary people in Molching, Germany, where Jews and many others are persecuted under Hitler.
