    And that's it? He needed some time to set everything and this stay like that and he record whole song?
    I thought that motorized faders are for some reason and mixing engineer record movement of those faders and in whole song from start to the end there are some smaller and bigger moves on the faders?

    Haven't watched, but yes this is standard! A normal recording engineer.
    And as you correctly say, automation is in the mixing stage.

    Haven't watched. Will. But you sounded like you were just talking about tracking up? Where you wouldn't be touching faders.
    A good recording engineer will have gainstaged and all faders will be at 0.
    I have sometimes seen people tweak a vocal pre during recording though.
    Pretty much ALL tracks we know even from the late 60s onwards required 'all hands on deck' to automate the mix for a bounce to 2TR.
    I really doubt this track I'm about to watch needed no automation for its mixdown...
