What's left to crack people are askin? Of the big / useful guys that everyone would love...

Soundtoys AAX (everyone needs soundtoys but have to use it via bluecats if on PT which is a ball buster)
Latest Softube AAX (other than the 1973 compressor) and all softube for aax/vst since 2015 (tape, cl1b mk 2 etc)
SSL Native (new versions and AAX)
Latest slate (since AudioUtopia's mighty 2015 drop) - i.e all the new VMR plugs even though the rack itself sucks most of the time
Relab Verbs (and 480l for AAX - again have to use via bluecats)
Acustica Acqua plugs (Quite a biggy and very hard to crack; over-rated and a workflow chore but still on the hit list. Whoever cracks these will get massive kudos)
ProTools 2018 Ultimate (last one we got was the great 12.5 HD which has worked solidly for me for 3 years and is better than anything else I've ever used (Cubase/Studio One etc).
Cubase latest
Plugin alliance (BX console, Black Box etc... )
UAD (DSP dongle box emulator needed!)

and quite a few more I can't be bothered to list...

Now the truth is, yeah we have already more than enough cools stuff to make great music (thanks Audio Utopia, R2R and V.R etc), but many of them are old, non AAX, lacking vs new versions, and new plugs often have better coding, bug fixes, better developed 'analog emulation' code etc.

NOTE: My post isn't to add to any perceived moaning about R2R or other groups, am thankful for the great stuff we get all year around, I'm just adding information for those who seem genuinely confused as to why we'd WANT any new stuff. AAX in particular needs new stuff as it's relying on VST in some cases for big releases (Soundtoys / Softube) via Blue cats so is not ideal.

im just waiting for someone to make a post about why no new years gifts from R2R, it will happen, i dont think people understand that they have lives to live as well, not to mention that they could have been caught up in the 2 natural disasters like the tsnami, use what you got, if you cant make music with that then there is no hope lol
