The problem is how much I will use these other plugins. The offer itself is fabulous undoubtedly.

 

Sadly this is not so nice if you live in the EU because you have to pay a lot of VAT on top of the 799,-
A ridiculous law anyways...

Yeah VAT is destroying many good deals noticed that as well. In my opinion VAT should always be included in the Price.

 

Not really possible. Too many different amounts (0 - >20%). Ok, your country is tracked/transmitted, but all developers would need to be up to date about the various VATs in the various countries.
On top of that, with a VPN that info is even wrong.

I think they know the VAT's, because it will be added on Top of the Price when Checkout is done. Also VAT's do not change that often. And i think buying via VPN doesn't use that much as for Software with Licenses you want your License registered proper to you and your Adress.

Would be fun to know if they redirect the VAT to the Countries or keep it, because how should in my Case Germany know that i purchased any Software Online. In Case of Hardware its another Case, because it will come thru customs.

Fun Fact while thinking about it i found out that here in Germany we have an Isle called Helgoland where VAT (or like its called here MwSt) is 0% which i did not know compared to the Rest of Germany 19%.

 

Forget paying via VPN and redirecting VAT etc. These times are 99% over. They handle that via "where is your payment registered" and other niceties. And it is not so easy anymore to get a payment address somewhere where you are not actually are. Believe me I am in the IT business since I was six, and this was in the early 80s The best thing is if you have guys around in other countries that buy for you. This is the easiest thing normally.

Recently I had another story going, they did not want to accept my legit credit card because the country it was issued in is not the country I live in... Guess who it was, Plugin Alliance... Telling them that in 2022 I do not need a physical account and even less so a card issued where I live did not help that much, I was able to trick them in the end but they did not really care about at all...

the plugin I was on doenst go down that much, Output Thermal. Actually at 90 euros including VAT on plugin boutique. Does anyone know if it was seen at less sometime in the past? I dont use it that much, so I would invest less.
