This is not the first Hardware partnership that Bitwig has forged; They already did with Nektar. However, Arturia is a bigger force and more recognizable name with some popular plugins line. So, much more noise is expected around this hand in hand!


All and all, I like the direction of these hardware/software bundles though. In my opinion, it creates a more streamline purchase and compatibility with lots of munchies for your bucks, considering that the extra plugins are already mapped and wired with the hardware.
Native-Instruments been doing it on its own, and M-Audio started doing it with AIR for their Trigger Finger Pro.

My guess/question about Bitwig direction here though, is it the route that Bitwig heads are employing to zoom their way to the top? Or at least demote Ableton from its popular throne?
In my opinion it may be hard for them to do so. Ableton already have a mega partner in Akai with whom they already show they can have success, but that's my two cent.

Next Sonar + Roland? Ha! who knows.
