Are you sure there's no freeze option? I mean, other option, not the generic freezing you're used to. :dunno:
You can still find a workaround by bouncing the track with the "post-fader" option, which still keeps the original track in deactivated mode.
I know that having 2 tracks in your arrangement window just for a freezing workaround might sound like a downside, but Bitwig compensates that through the "hybrid track" mode, which allows two kinds of sound clips on the same track and also that you can bounce one particular midi clip in place while keeping the other midi clips intact, that's a compensation as well.
As you can see, all the daws have both flaws and strenghts.

People if you love Bitwig then buy it, support the developer. i'm suspecting that Studio One 3 isn't already here due to implementing crack protection

It's not all java, the protection however is. Don't expect it too soon since it's been a while already and nobody's had much luck so far.

well Presonus better make some math with Reaper and even FL Studio 12 on the windows side before make a move ...agree with pirates and everything but all till at a certain point ...if they change their protection in a non convenient way i will abandon them the time i count to 3 and don't see no point in moving into FL, its mixer I swear i find it better than Studio One ...and i wouldn't mind lifetime free upgrades ...as of this fellow titwig ...i like it so far but i think i should wait to see how the competition goes, all in all you can make good music in all daws
