Hello friends,

I am pondering on an idea the last few years and I need some outside opinions about it.
The short story - I have a small project studio with some good synths and alot of computer power. I am planning a major upgrade to expand and move it to a bigger location. I will invest in quite alot of money and make one big musical system, that in its final version will include 50+ hardware synths (big Eurorack and DotCom systems and some exotic ones like GRP A4, Schmidt, JB Solaris and SE CODE 8 included), a descent guitar rig, some mics, outboard equipment (Xite-1, FX, Filters, Seqs), centered around a 96x96 96KHz MADI matrix, supported by 3x Ferrofish A32 convertors, several MIDI interfaces, Cubase and VEP.

In between my own projects and collaborations, I would like to rent the whole studio out (with the standard option of getting a Sound-Engineer support) to help recover part of my investments back. The facility will be orientated mainly towards electronic music production (all genres). Due to it specific combination of hardware/software and the workflow that it implies my worries are mainly around the notion that it will be hard to find clients that are willing to spend resources for using what will be a very complex synth system on which they have to adapt for quite some time. Moreover, it will be a modern synth studio, with little to no vintage synths but instead full of modern analog jewels.
It will be located in Vienna and will be a part of a combined project with another mid-size live recording studio.
My own EU research led me to:
- few studios (mainly UK and Germany located) that were offering something similar but mainly filled with vintage stuff and quite less modern ones
- alot of companies offering single synths for rent.
I couldnt find anything that will resemble the project that I have in mind (not in this scale and targeting, at least) and I wonder if there is a niche for such an en-devour.
This is my lifetime project that I am taking to the next step and I really am in need of some honest opinions from you guys and gals
