These snares reverb are so beautiful, does anybody know how to replicate the sound?

you should try the Big Snare Drum Reverb vst

its really good...

 

It actually sounds more like they compressed the f*ck out of the room mic rather than a reverb.

You can also try Valhalla vintageverb, it can never do no wrong on snares

 

There are some good tutorials on youtube... most of time compress like a mofo and play with reverb.

 

no need to compress a snare if the sample s really good! if its a quality sample, it will have already gone through some processing. To get the CRACK in the snare... a way to make it stand out besides playing with reverb times (which is essential) is to do very little EQ'ing via frequency sweeping. If you sweep the frequency range of your snare drum you can accentuate the mid tone to get that nice CRACK from it and then use the reverb to play off the midtone. That will give the sound you want. Make sure that you watch the amount of attack that you use because that will determine the start time of the reverb and watch your delay as well. Hope that helps.
