Up to a few weeks ago, I had no problems with V.R installers but now they won't run anymore: they start normally but right after setting up the path folders, they give me error messages after error messages, in Ukrainian except for one sentence: "out of memory" ? Any idea how to solve this? Thanks.

Try running the setups in compatibility mode for Windows 7 (not SP1). I assume you know how to do that. If that does not work, open the setups as zip files with 7zip (yes 7zip can indeed open exe files as archives) and copy/extract the contents you want from it and manually paste them.
Your file path names should not be greater than 160 characters and should be in English only.
Also the path in which the setup is stored should not be much long.

Thanks. I did the compatibility mode for Win7 a few days ago with no results. I'll try 7zip.

No idea what to do with 7zip ? Put the setup.exe into an archive, take it out of the archive... and absolutely no way to extract anything from the installer.

Actually i can. I can open the FL Studio setup like a zip file

    In 7Zip:

Idk if it works with all executable files. If none of these options work, try to open the setup in Safe Mode or try to get a portable copy. If the plugin is just a cracked vst and no registry changes, then you can just get the dll files from anybody who has installed it

Thanks for all your efforts. No, 7zip can't open this exe as an archive.

I left all VR releases, not only installer issues, the apps are completely bad cracked, if you has intensive use, they crash on sometime or get absolutely useless.

VR uses Inno Setup to create their installers and since a bit of time also R2R does.
7zip isn't capable to handle these as archives like NSiS installers (used by Image-Line for FL Studio).

If you want to look inside, you can use InnoExtractor or the command line tool innounp (which also is used by InnoExtractor):

but VR also protects their installers from unpacking by encrypting the contents using Inno's built in
Arcfour encryption. That way you can look inside, view the basic installation script, decompile the code section
but you can't extract the files (and yes, that makes no sense).

So when an installer by VR doesn't work for you, the only way to handle is:
throw it in the trash bin!

But you also can make some screenshots of the error messages. Maybe there's another reason
like a missing redist package or what ever so share them and you might get some help ;)

Thanks for your effort. Throw them in the dumpsta! Looks like it's all I can do with error messages in Ukrainian anyway...
