Hello everyone, first post here (I hope to be in the correct section).

Recently I've been struggling trying to create a bell sounding like the one in Yellow Claw's Wizard remix (
    ).

All I found online was a bunch of tutorial of "small" bells.

Listening to this one it seems it can go in deeper octaves than the usual bells around still having a bright attack.

The only thing I think I understood is that Sine-ish wavetables and FM are needed but maybe I'm wrong.

Any suggestion? I use Operator, Massive and Serum so if you can figure out something with those synths it would be wonderful!

It's basically a high sine and saw with a clicky transient.
Garrix/Hardway used a sample chopped out of "IM ILL Timboness High Loop" to make that melody, but you can easily make your own. I'm sure there are at least 100 videos on "how to".

I don't care what Garrix and Hardway used, I'm asking how did Yellow Claw made their own sound...

Lol. You think Yellow Claw re-created it from scratch? He just re-used the stem/sample in the remix pack (pitched and sped up), which is a sample in the first place (by Boi-1da, for all I know).

    You only need:
    1) a short sine wave (very short amp decay and no amp sustain).
    2) Layer it with an additional clicky transient (very short hat, clap, percussion, whatever).

Well then, I'll give it a go and show you the process in case I can't get it so maybe you can tell me where I'm doing wrong, thanks in advance!
