    i don't have one single problem with ad blocker, so i have to disagree. i have the latest version in firefox and it does its job very well

    uBlock breaks some sites, even when it says it's not blocking anything but I can live with it. Noticeable improvement in memory usage and page loads compared to Adblock Plus on Firefox. I don't use Chrome, because Chrome is spyware. If you insist on using Chrome, try SRWare Iron, because it's not linked to Google's spy servers.

    I use Adguard AdBlocker for ads and Pop Up Blocker Pro for popups which are both free and work well.
