best version of Ableton 7

    my buddy has a legit version of ableton 7 but has been banned by Ableton from registering the program
    he has a slower computer and cant run the newer versions

    can anyone suggest the best 'unlocked' version of Ableton 7 to get?

    For windows i found 7.0.14 which kinds works.

    But why does he not used v8.2? Which is not that ancient i guess or is he running always a very old OS, like xp or something from the mac side?

    no its windows 10...just an older computer

    thanks...that sounds good..i think maybe you mean Ableton Live 7.0.3 by Team Air

    im not having much luck finding either of these, if anyone has suggestion please PM or whatever thanks

    correct, and if i remember correct live 7.0.3 from Team A.i.R was the first proper crack of ableton, i think i tried 7.0.1 and 7.0.2 and always got copy protection error, i been using live since that 7.0.3 version, now nearly on version 11, i know i still have 7.0.3 somewhere on an old external hhd

    Oh boy not ntlite'd win10 sucks up so much resource. Install win7 and turn off half of the services and adjust win7 to best performance (no fancy colors).

    you can do the same with win10, just need to dig very deep.

    @ OP v8.2 worked pretty good resource-wise, but is not so stable as any v9 version up to v10. So 7.0.3 might be really the best. or try 7.0.14 as mentioned, thats maybe easier to find in the webz.

    has your friend a SSD installed? this really helps for older computers to boost performation a lot.
