Best Strumming VST of the World!

    Hi,

    I'm building a virtual harp. Therefore I tested several strumming VSTs.

    The VST has to have midi out, since I use my own modeled sounds.

    After testing...

    - Real Guitar
    - Sugar Bytes Guitariist
    - several others

    I ended up with PizMidi MidiStrum ( http://thepiz.org/plugins/?p=pizmidi ).

    Why?

    1. It adds a smooth velocity curve to a strum automatically.
    2. It has a nice spreading/strum speed.
    3. With Plogue Bidule i can automate midiStrum in a midi clip to model 'articulations', strum speed etc..
    4. It's not limited to 6 guitar strings.

    Now the question:

    midiStrum seems to have a bug. It only allows down strumming in the so called 'simple mode'.
    Complex mode, with strumming up and down seems not to work.

    Does anybody has a hint for this? Or an alternative VST module successfully tested (with midi out)?

    some type of fluid pitch control and automatic stringing in variations set by lfos would be interesting
