ok can any one recommend the best option at least under 250.00 us dollars just fro speakers and or audio interface , i will add sub woofer later for more boom , but i really dont know what i should get , the speakers would be fore mostly music , beats , movies and games , i have surround sound system right now , its a Phillips , should i go for another surround sound system or get a 2. 1 , bookshelf or powered monitors , im really not able to choose it would be a for small music room i made 8 feet by 8 feet .........please help thanks

JBL LSR305 5" Powered Studio Monitor I have been using these for about 3 months and loving it. I was using KRK's 5" Rockit at the same price before. Major improvement in sound quality with a huge sweet spot making true stereo everywhere in the room.

These deserve a listen, they will fill the room with sound. I use them with Subs although they have a nice low end without them. I also use ARC software for room EQ. I can not believe how good they sounded 20 feet away from the listening position, off axis, up a staircase! Amazing!
