I loved the simple look of this one from vsp scope from vengeance but there is no release of it, it also shows the key of the freq. simply lovely (im on studio one and i dont like the look of the internal one)

what do you mean there is no release of it?
simply download from vengeance homepage under freebies:
    (it's the very first entry)

wow; why do they call it freebie then?! :snuffy:

in that case take a look at those:

Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst (Multi) / StereoScope and/or Stillwell schOPE and/or Voxengo AnSpec / SPAN and/or Waves PAZ Analyzer...

another possibility is to use EQs. Ableton EQ8 has a scope, same as DMG Audio EQ series and and/or FabFilter Pro-Q.

yeah. i tried it too, thanks. this is the first freebie that actually is no freebie... now i know why nobody likes vengeance...

I added some pluigins that I tried. But I am using freeware tools. I suggest you try them. If you are looking for analyzis, then you will like rs-met (he also programmed an EQ called Easy-Q which has unlimited number of bands, also freeware). If you are looking for fancy GFX, go for the commercial ones.

    http://www.rs-met.com/freebies.htm

    The fancy ones are:
    Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst (Multi)
    Blue Cat's StereoScope
    Stillwell schOPE
    Voxengo AnSpec
    Voxengo SPAN
    Waves PAZ Analyzer

    EQs with scopes:
    Ableton EQ Eight
    DMG Audio EQ series
    FabFilter Pro-Q.

Might have to donate a kidney to buy it. I swear the devs dropped acid before

hehe, yeah weird way of calling it "free". got it now. works fine, ill check out the other suggestions you came with.

btw, when we are at it, what do you use for isolation of frequencies you want to listen and check?
im comparing my mix with commercial tracks and wanted to listen to just certain freqs. im using the internal multiband compressor without compression and...

it "works", but like in the other case, its not that fine of a vst to work with, kind of unpolished. any tip for a lightweight nice layout one is welcomed..

as far as I remember, PAE by Flux has no VST support. So if you thought about the good old drag and drop thing, you are wrong with that software.

Insight is usually doing double duty as a tool and eye candy blown up full screen on the 50in I use for a 3rd display. I like the orange rx color theme

Download a copy of recent Computer Music Magazine (our neighbours).

    Register here: http://vault.computermusic.co.uk/register/

Once succesfully registered you go to `my vault`. Download CM-Plugins PC or Mac. You'll find it there. It is a good tool.
